Stephanie Laughlin
Stephanie Laughlin is a mother, thrift store aficionado, and life-long pop culture junkie. She has a degree in film studies from Concordia University and for many years was the film critic for Forget the Box. She made her directorial debut in 2020 with the short film The Caretaker. Some of the artistic goals she has for the future include finally finishing that damn novel and producing a full-length feature film.
Jerry Gabriel
Jerry Gabriel is a co-founder of Forget the Box media and 41 productions. He’s also a is a singer/songwriter in the indie band Night Beach.
About Our Show
Stephanie Laughlin and Jerry Gabriel have been friends since first meeting at the Infringement Festival in 2008. Over the years they were both founding member of The Forget the Box media collective, and in 2019 created 41 Productions. In 2020, 41 Productions released their debut short film The Caretaker. This podcast is the latest in hopefully a long line of projects these friends continue to work on for a very long time to come.
